The Estate has a large population of fallow deer. In order to maintain the health of the herd and to restrict considerable tree and crop damage the deer are culled at certain times of the year. These deer are processed in our approved deer larder and the venison and other game from the Estate is sold through our farm shop at Alders Farm on the Kings Cliffe Road, PE8 6XY, which can be collected or delivered locally within 5 miles (large orders only).
